MIchael - It's Monday and we're back in the gallery for a long day of installing. I hung all of the 2-D work in the show.
MIchael - The Sheldon's lobby (called the Great Hall) has enormous and beautiful gold leaf treated concrete discs on the ceiling that hold the lobby's lights. During our days in the gallery this view was a welcome respite.
MIchael - Ashley, the curator of Liz's exhibition, Fedex-ed us a bunch of gourmet chocolate bars from Richmond to help us through the installation.
MIchael - Patron's Preview - The Sheldon has a new director and he made a good impression on all of us by singling out the museum's awesome security staff during his first public address as director.
MIchael - With all due respect to Liz, I couldn't put an image of Shawn up here with his eyes closed. So I thought it best to take the liberty of cut and paste and make a visual representation of what we experienced over the two weeks we installed the show. Photo by The Sheldon's Development Director, Laura Reznicek.
MIchael - In Chicago, less than 30 minutes after taking a picture for Kate.

Jesse - a wha huh OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOboe
Jesse - someone on the other side of the wall of books, someone said something foul about someone who went to the bathroom, and the others snickered with chorus, but then again, maybe it was a book reading club reading the "Woman's Room".
Jesse - more bunker less car chic.
Jesse - the moist air preceeding august makes me lick my pudding ring several times on end. we were on the parkway, and we went to little switzerland, and then we got kicked out of a bunch of places, and broke into keenan's house to let his dog, donkey, go pee..
